Great food!!! Everyone working at Casa Lu Al treats you as though you are sitting down at their family table for Sunday dinner. Very friendly and efficient at what they do!! Great variety on the menu and it is all fantastic!!! Good prices for what you get.

This restaurant is very friendly and comfortable feeling. Staff was very friendly! The "Silver Dollar Mushrooms" (I think that's what they were called) were VERY GOOD. They were crispy on the outside, so juicy on the inside and the flavor was phenomenal. The wife had the seafood platter which I thought was a bit minimal for the price. What was on the platter she said was excellent though. She wasn't impressed with the green beans, so I tried them and they were a bit off. The asparagus was cooked proper but could have used a bit more seasoning. Ribeye was cooked perfect and very well seasoned (quite tasty) but a bit tougher than other ribeyes I've had of this size. The food was relatively good but I think the staff and atmosphere made the dining experience much better!

Looking for a reasonably priced, family owned place to celebrate a Birthday, and Cafe Lu Al was recommended by a friend. The interior is nothing fancy and I wish they would ditch the dated advertising on the tables, but the menu is a nice mix of Italian and traditional offerings. The prices are quite reasonable. Hubby had the a Wahoo Burger (with bacon and bbq sauce) and he really enjoyed it. I had a combo.with a lightly blackened steak and ravioli (instead of.potato). The sirloin was very tender and the blacken seasoning enhanced it beautifully, along with a butter sauce for dipping. The ravioli was pretty basic and traditional, with lots of cheese filling. All was tasty except they over cooked my steak (ordered medium.rare and got medium well). They offered to get me a new one, but I had already taken a few bites , and dispite the overcooking, it was so tender and tasty I didn't want to give it up!! The side salad and bread sticks.were pretty ordinary. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly and we had a nice chat with one of the owners on the way out. We will be back when we're are in the area.
