Despite a range of mistakes, Carpet One definitely gets major points for honesty, integrity, attitude, and hard work. Everyone I interacted with, Caressa, Miguel, Esteban, Bucky, they were all nice, understanding of complaints, and awesome to talk to. I thought I would have to replace a whopping 1/3rd of the subfloor in my house because the floor had dips and hills in it from moisture damage. But when they pulled up the vinyl in those areas, they said the subfloor was good when that would have been thousands to replace. And after initially installing a vinyl not made for my kind of subfloor, they strived to make things right at no additional charge. I did run into a few issues related to them trying to make it right though. Not smoothing the second install or caulking the edges of doorways. Stepping on and killing a potted plant. Moving the freezer onto the back porch and not plugging it back in. Taking food and insulin out of the fridge to lighten it for moving but not putting any of it back in. Scattering those fridge items about, whether it be on the table, cabinets, floor, or pantry, it was just all over the place. Try as they might to deliver a good product, these mistakes added unnecessary friction, extended the time to complete, and necessitated compensation so only ended up hurting us and the company. We also wanted the carpet looked at because it had sunken down in high traffic areas. We were told it was the foam padding underneath being compacted over time and replacing it would resolve the issue. It's still sunken down though and now we have extra, visible seams. So either it wasn't the padding or it wasn't replaced properly, if at all seeing how much of a rush the final day when the carpet was being done was. There's also the issue of communication. Only the team lead can speak English, and not fluently so a lot of nuance and explanation is lost leading to confusion and the wrong expectations being set when he's the main point of contact on the job. Meanwhile, what seem to be their two most experienced, knowledgeable installers who do speak fluent English and were able to explain everything in perfect detail, they're just salesmen and don't do installs. I feel like so many of the problems and misleading expectations could have been avoided if even one of them were available for installs rather than just coming out for quotes and running the front of the store. If Carpet One can take these criticisms to heart I imagine they'd do a great job. Most of what it came down to wasn't their flooring skills but rather common sense mistakes and carelessness. It tracks for them to have such a high overall rating if they had their heads on straight and this was just a series of flukes.

Recently purchased new carpeting & pad from the Marshall store. Caressa was outstanding to work with from carpet selection all the way through installation & financing. The installation crew was great to work with and did a terrific job on the carpet install. They were both careful and respectful with my property. There may be cheaper places out there, but I am very pleased with the quality of my new carpet and the expert installation from this Carpet One location.

I spoke with the staff about doing some kitchen updates. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything I asked. They had several options available to look at on hand for granite slabs to look at and select for our new countertops. They helped with finding a matching back splash also. The work was performed on time and on budget. I have 0 complaints and would recommend them to anyone who could use their services.

Caressa at Carpet One is the best. She helped me with flooring and was very knowledgeable about installation. Prices were wonderful and I highly recommend!

We are happy with the installation and professional attitude of the installers. We are VERY unhappy for being charged $75.00 for hazmat removal of old carpet when installers didn't even wear gloves. Bucky refused to make any adjustments to our bill. NOT fair in our minds.
