Rooms are huge, kinda set up suit like... a couch area with a TV and a desk is separate from the sleeping area that also has a TV. The bathroom is new and modern and groovy with a wicked deep tub... I did some amateur scuba diving in there... The front desk folks were very helpful and friendly. There is a nice little bar in the lobby that was staffed by a very friendly girl, female, your lady / woman... pick whichever seems the least offensive to you. Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast with the exception that all the food was fresh and very very good. This is a great property and I would stay here anytime... this place is a win!!!
Beware if you are wheelchair bound and need an actual wheelchair friendly hotel. This hotel is not ADA or wheelchair friendly. Called to check prior to arrival that we would have a roll in shower in our room as advertised. We were told our room would have this. After check in our ADA room was on the 4th floor and no roll in shower. My father is completely wheelchair bound. Cannot walk at all so we were not prepared, and had no way for him to shower. After a talk with the manager the next day, they finally provided a shower bench. I am an interior designer and know the ADA, just implementing rails in a bathroom does NOT make a room accessible. Secondly, there are only 4 handicap parking spaces. 1 of the 4 they allow their employee to utilize. The first night the employee car had no handicap placard, in the morning one appeared on the car after I made an in person complaint to the manager on duty. If you only have 4 handicap spaces available for your entire hotel, you should make other parking accommodations for your employee if they need a closer space. We had to park in the back of the parking lot taking up two spaces because my dad needs room to get in and out of a vehicle with his wheelchair and access to a cart to transport his wheelchair than handicap spaces accommodate. We also had friends in the lobby who overhead the staff talking about me after I made a complaint to the manager in person. So you may want to watch talking about guests in public.
This hotel was nice and clean! The rooms were nice, just a little out dated! The staff was very help and took care of all my needs! Abigail was beyond helpful and a pleasure to have! Brandon helped me during my check out and was absolutely amazing. He recommended places to eat and sights to see in the area. I will definitely be returning!
The manager kindly upgraded our room after my husband politely explained that he had made an error in booking our vacation for my birthday weekend. The rooms were clean, although there was some wear and tear. The area surrounding the hotel was pleasant. The pool was small but nice.
My 12 year old recently left behind his switch game case with all of his games.The staff found these before my son ever knew they were missing. I spoke to the General Manager Tom and he was over the top helpful! He quickly shipped these back to me and all 36 of the games were still there! We can not thank him enough for being so helpful!
