Cafe Bassam

Very unique cafe. A lot of options for tea right in the center of the room as you walk in. Cappuccino was very delicious and tasteful. All I did not get her name, the barista was very knowledgeable and took care of us and our drink orders. Greatly appreciate that! Will definitely be back!
I was really enjoying this coffee while I was on my way to work as a massage therapist. And as soon as I finished, and a peace a aluminum was in my coffee. I almost chocked on it. It is really dangerous as well. The young lady didn't seem like she was paying attention to my order obviously looked annoyed. I really don't like posting any negative reviews at all. It was my first time at this coffee place I always walk by before and after my work. until this experience happened. I am truly sorry but I will not return anymore to this place anymore.
Interesting design, and good music. The tea is a bit pricy , $6.5, compared to most other places I have been to which are in $3.0 range. Also some tendency to have 75minute rule but it is not being enforced tho. (No food served, only drinks : wine, coffee, beer, tea, etc) Overall good experience.
While the cafe itself has a lovely rustic interior decor, I have to rate this place based on trying to work here as a NOPE. All of the many outlets around the room to charge devices have been blocked off and signs are posted that says 75 minutes is the maximum time allowed to stay there inside (and you can stay as long as you want outside but it’s freezing so….). Not an inviting place for people to work at but I did stay longer than the time allowed and they didn’t force me out. So I did appreciate that. I’d rethink coming here if you need to work an extended period of time. Internet speed was good. Also, there’s a sign that says “no food” on their food menu board so that could be only for today or their kitchen is closed for good. They just had a few pastries and cheesecake to eat. If you visit, I recommend parking on the side streets, not the main street, because it’s free to park there.
What a wonderful and unique cafe! The ambiance was excellent and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Robust selection of teas. Honestly might have had the best thai tea I've ever had in my entire life - very sweet, but also such a complicated and subtle flavor. I did manage to find an outlet - an entire extension chord in fact, which was awesome.
