Great burger stop during the long drive. The burger was great. Staff were super friendly and knew every ingredient in all the food that they served. The fry sauce is also tasty.

I ordered the elk burger and it was a disappointment. It's clearly overcooked and looks nothing like other elk burgers. I'm actually not sure this patty wasn't just ground beef because it didn't really taste like elk either. The place wasn't busy, I wasn't in a hurry, and I even tipped. I wish they would've taken the time to get the burger right. I also ordered the buffalo burger and that was actually cooked worse. I was asked if I wanted cheese and said yes. The burger was actually so overcooked the patty turned black and was stuck to the bun. The people inside were nice, the only thing I noticed was when you go to pay they aren't very helpful and just stand there like a statue. I put three stars because I'm willing to give the place another chance. I'll try a regular burger next time and see how it goes. Update: They've now closed the lot next door that allowed RV and truck parking. It's completely inconvenient on a trip to visit. If C&D doesn't own that lot then they can reply to this review. Otherwise I'm reducing by 1 star for now.

Food was a really good surprise. Burger with bacon was very good. Chicken strips and fries were good, not overcooked, not chewy. Diner floor was really sticky. Not sure if it was a wax job gone wrong or what happened. Other than that, great little stop!
