Could not find platform 9 and 3/4, ran into column between 9 and 10, owl got loose, overall disaster ended up in Detroit.Purchased 'magic' on the street outside which was the only highlight of the airport as it kept me awake and alert for days! If anyone sees an owl capable of carrying postage, please let me know. His name is Paula.
This airport is easy in/easy out. Major hub for Southwest but also has the other majors and a few international airlines. There is a light rail stop right outside next to the international D gates, there is a marc/amtrak stop down the road with a free shuttle about every 15 minutes. Long term parking is reasonable. The car rental facility is down the road with a free shuttle. Fair amount of services are offered at BWI but some of the businesses/restaurants have had to shut down during the covid-19 crisis. Still a great and friendly airport and easy to get to.
Easy to get in, easy to get out. Pretty fast TSA lines, and cheap flights to all over the US. Cheap rental car places close to everything and the train to DC is less then $20 from BWI
If they make at least first half hour parking free, at the hourly garage, that would make a lot less traffic and rush at the drop off and pick up area. But looks like they enjoy people suffering and issuing traffic tickets over there. The management of this airport has tried there level best to make people lives miserable, horrible traffic, horrible to get around , horrible seating areas and horrible waiting time.
Never have any issues, always clean, and always as comfortable as can be !
