When we went to pick up our truck, very rude older man waited on us, my husband had to help him. They told us that we were getting a truck with only 20,000 miles on it. But when we got there a woman was yelling that she got her truck home, and it wouldn't start! So they gave her our truck! We ended up getting a MUCH older truck. OK. We reserved a tow hitch for our car, but they told us, sorry the last one just went. We order a hand truck, but sorry they were out of those too. SO, they gave us a flatbed tow. OK. We spent all day loading the truck, and finally we were done. We hitched up the flatbed, and got our car up on it and belted in. As my guy was backing out of our driveway, he was having a really hard time because the flatbed just kept turning one way. When I took a closer look...FLAT TIRE!!! Then I went around to the other side, a SECOND TIRE was going flat!!!! No WAY did they not know about this!! We are now waiting 60-90 minutes for their "roadside assistance" in our driveway. All this before a 3 day journey!!!!! UPDATE: We called roadside assistance at 3:30, it is now 9:00 pm. They called a tire place that was 1.5 hours away! Both tires had nails in them. We ended up getting a hotel room (7 minutes from our house!), so I am here waiting for my guy to return. What a nightmare...I'll post again if we ever get otr!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION 😡😡😡😡😡 It is NOT WORTH any of $$ you might "save".
I love that budget truck has unlimited miles between moves, but we rented a budget truck and they called to have us return it two days early due to another truck being out of order and were conveniently out of office when we went to return it. They didn’t even offer to compensate us for going out of our way and returning the truck two days early and didn’t really even thank us. Not very pleased.
I have using this company for 20 years now, they are great, reasonably priced and flexible with my needs. very nice people and hard working
Very poor customer service on the part of the older gentleman who works there. The lady is very nice. Deal with her if at all possible because he is very rude and unprofessional.
If you are moving, budget truck is a great choice. I recently used their service and it is very professional.
