Only 2 people working. The car I got was dirty. Bird poop and dead bugs on the outside. Scratches on the exterior. Inside used water bottles. Informed the worker at the exit gate. He didn’t care. Photos don’t show all the details.
If you are willing to wait 3 hours in line to get a car then go ahead and book it , tho was not on rush hour, the was a Tuesday! Only one man at the desk I felt bad for him. 8 check in desks only one man work the entire 3 hours that we where in line
Here is an example of poor customer experience: Arrive at EWR Budget desk at 2:40pm on a Friday. Only two desks open so the line is long and barely moving. Everyone has booked in advance so they know we are coming. Sadly the rental car industry never seems to improve.
Waited nearly two hours in line to receive rental car. I flew accross the country for my best friends surprise 40th birthday party and missed it because i had to wait in line so long. Receptionist was rude and truck I received had significant frontal damage. Only 2 associates were present with over 100 customers in line. I have never been treeated with such a lack of respect by a major company. Would give zero stars if possible.
Usually our experience with budget rent a car has been very satisfactory. However today the service was very poor. Specially the customer agent Nancy was rude and unattended. She was not letting the customer to ask question neither she was willing to explain. Disappointed service. However the lady Kumara who assisted to handover the car was amazing and made a fantastic impression.
