Do NOT use this rental Company!!! Paid over 400$$ for a one rental of a Subaru Outback midsize car! But I was 3 hours late to anchorage airport due to road work from anchor point to Cooper landing. They charged my bank another day. This is the first time I have ever charge a late fee like this. You can buy a 500$ junker and drive it to Anchorage sign the pink and a sign free at the end! Or call AAA and get tow in. Fleecing of Alaskan’s by Budget rental car!! Minus -10 stars. Way to go Budget rental car!!!!

This is literally the worst rental car company I've ever used.. and I've been to Iceland. They stated to drop the key off in the return bin that was inside of the airport, as I would be returning the car after hours. They failed to mention that the airport was closed at the time that we were returning it (and they knew the time) and so we had no access to said bin. Not to worry though, as long as we returned it by noon we wouldn't be charged another day, and guess what, we did! My aunt, who lives in Anchor Point, turned the keys in at 11:50 and explained the situation. They explained that it was too late and charged the card an extra day anyways. When I called to explain again, they simply explained that I should just accept the charge as they would not be returning my money!! I would give negative stars if I could. Do NOT rent with this company unless you've got loads of money that you'd like to just throw away!

Horrible experience a few months back. Was not able to even rent a car because our PERSONAL car insurance didn’t have enough comprehensive coverage? I rent cars all the time, this is the first time since ever been asked about personal auto insurance, and I couldnt believe my comprehensive insurance wasn’t enough and that buying the extra rental insurance wouldn’t be an option? It felt like we were being pranked, the girl kept pretending she was typing and ignoring us as we tried to grasp some clarification do what we needed. Needless to say, we had to cancel our plans for lack of car. It was just an awful experience.
