Check in was a breeze! The female employee (forgot to get her name) was fabulous! Our whole transaction may have lasted 7 minutes, at most. The vehicle that I received was a brand new model, and pretty at that. Everything was pleasurable. I will most definitely use Budget/Avis for all of my future rental needs!

Hi, I recently rented a car from Budget Rental Car from the airport in Albany, Georgia . I checked the vehicle prior to leaving the business and informed the representative of what seemed to be a minor concern. After providing pictures, was informed that they were aware of the discrepancies which had already been documented. After business hours, it was determined that the front end was out of alignment. I did call a representative and informed her that I would notify the airport location first thing the next morning. After contacting a representative via phone the following morning, I informed her of the situation and to my surprise, she did not even apologize and only informed me that she would contact as soon as she had another vehicle available. Needless to say… no one from this Budget Car Rental ever followed up or got back in contact with me. The vehicle I was rented on Thursday and scheduled to be returned on Monday… upon returning the car at the airport, I informed the representative that the car needed a front end alignment with her response “I’ll let them know” no apology what so ever therefore I can not refer or recommend Budget Rental Car to anyone at this time. 🤦🏽‍♂️ K. I have been a loyal Budget customer for many years. I am committed to the service that the company provides. However, for this most recent rental made for 19 May 2022, I was absolutely shocked at the condition of the vehicle that was rented to me. The outside of the vehicle was clean, but the inside… wow. WOW! The inside was extremely dirty. This is not a complaint but my observance. I have served in the military for over 31 years now and am still active duty. This is the one time that actually took pictures of the inside of the vehicle and will send as soon as I am able to. For the purpose in which I rented the vehicle I later decided not to due to the cleanliness of the vehicle. I was embarrassed. Truly embarrassed. This was perhaps due to the geographical location of this particular Budget, but I would like to think that Albany, GA can do better. This was heartbreaking.

They ripped me off on technicalities. In the past I rented for a whole week and when I returned the car early they prorated the fee accordingly. This time they would NOT prorate the fee when I brought it back after 4 days early (I more than double over-paid). They said I should have read the contract... yeah right... I don't like it when big companies use incredibly long contracts written by whole teams of lawyers and then screw me on technicalities... they will win everytime that way. I will only do business with a company that treats me fairly regardless of the legalise in the contract. They should have treated me like they did on previous occassions. I will not do business with Budget.

Poor customer service. Expect to spend hours and hours on the phone trying to resolve. Over charged by $500.00. Vehicle returned within hours due to condition. Customer service is a NIGHTMARE. I rented a premium SUV on May 26th from Tony. I had to return the car the same day due to the condition of the vehicle. My wife said she could not ride in the car since it smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana. I picked up the car but didn't smell anything because my sense of smell hasn't returned from having had COVID. Tony was unprofessional and argumentative. We called budget for a refund and never received. Budget then charged me an additional $500.00 for no known reason as I never received any receipt. My 3 day car rental turned into a $1145.00 charge for a car that I returned the same day. Budget says they can only refund $50.00 of that charge. I will NEVER use this company again. Dave Ramsey recommends, but I don't.
