Bountiful Food Pantry
What people are saying
This place has great people and probably the best food and selection in Utah. Only problem is it has kinda become ruined by non-resident aliens (from one specific country 🇻🇪). Even when you show up early there is a chance you'll get turned away. Love ya BFP but it's becoming a cluster over there.
Way Too Much info needed it's ridiculous, i was going through a very hard time and thought on getting a lil help for my kiddos it was my first time ever asking for that help but sadly i was asked for 3 different type of proof of income when i clearly told them i was working cash jobs, took a letter from the lady i clean for, i took bank account info, and w2 but that didn't work i guess because they still needed something else 🤷♀️ . I gave up.
Great place! Staff is super friendly and helpful! Always willing to help in anyway possible or point you in the right direction to find your answers or help..
Excellent service and friendly staff. Also quick to help me find the right resources for my situation. It made my day to hear back from them and that they listened to what I had to say and we're very understanding and supportive. Thank you!
This location is filled with friendly and knowledgeable bilingual individuals who are there to help you with whatever you need. Not only do they help you with food assistance but sometimes if available there is gas card promotions or holiday present assistance called the Santa program. I wish someone had told me that you need financial copies of your income before you go to sign up at this location and proof of residence. After you are approved to receive services the staff will give you a card and at registration, you can add "family members" for shoppers' assistance. Very well organized, and clean, but not spacious. They allow up to 6 shoppers at a time, no kids unless the child can fit up front in the cart. Personal bags are preferred unless you don't mind plastic shopping bags that they tie for you, double knot. They offer dry goods, frozen proteins, dairy, vegetables, bakery, and bread depending on what day you go. Open Mon-sat check website, times may vary. When you get there your place in line matters. You want to arrive 20-30 minutes before opening to claim your spot. If they have the buzzers working you can even wait in your car. Plenty of handicap parking, a ramp to access entry and automatic doors.
