Visited Black Heart Coffee on a Friday lunch hour and it was abuzz with customers, so business seemed to be good. A little hard to spot (I was looking for it and drove right past it) but quite lovely once I found it. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating- loud in both places for someone like me who has trouble tuning out background noise, but manageable. I found the service on the slow side (all I got was a black coffee and there was only one person in front of me but there was still a wait.) I'd certainly go back again but wouldn't make it a regular haunt.

Parking is terrible here. lol Other than that this is a great coffee shop. Food: i had the french toast and the breakfast burrito here. Amazing food. I had the vanilla latte. Cant complain. Service: They get pretty busy, there is a to go pick up outside if you need to run and grab your food. Ambiance: i really like the inside, lots of people come here on their lunch break, catch up with friends or just work here. Good overall spot.

First I’ll share that the employees were friendly, and helpful. Something that I’ve read about that wasn’t so great. I ordered a ‘Marigold’ sandwich, and wanted to make sure the fried egg was medium cooked. Employee assured me that that’s how they prepare it. Sadly, it wasn’t. It was way under medium cooked…when I cut the sandwich in half, the yolk oozed out very reminiscent of an ‘over easy’ egg. I think that that is something the kitchen needs to really pay attention to. Not to mention, it’s very hard to eat when it’s oozing out of your sandwich. But overall, a positive experience. Parking can be real tricky.

We were in line behind an elderly wheelchair user and I was completely taken aback by the patience and compassion that was shown by the team behind the bar. There was no rush to move him along, and called him by his name after they learned it. These are the moments I live for in these times. Only “complaint” is that the door is not completely accessible, and maybe add accessible seating.

Beautiful atmosphere and tasty foods and coffee. I had the Avocado toast with fried egg and really enjoyed it. Also tried the lily with no bacon and with the pretzel bun and it was delicious! I took the large ice Americano with just 2 shoots instead of 4 and loved it 👍 I'll be back for more...
