Wow! If I'm honest I'm one of those picky people when it comes to my seafood, but Big Willy is taking care of me! I can't eat shrimp or crab but he has a Garlic Side Plate so I don't feel like I'm missing out. My wife and I go about once a week now that he is opened in Sylvester and get fried fish plates. His fried fish is fresh and delicious!
I stood in line for A HOUR at Food Truck Friday in Perry, GA to try this seafood and it was very worth the wait. I would gladly stand in line for an hour again to try this seafood. Too bad they canceled FTF this year because of the virus, I might just have to make a trip to Albany 😌.
I’m a college student in south ga and Big Willie’s food truck came to our campus. So I decided to get a ticket for the truck because I wanted seafood; let me tell you that this is some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were just so soft and flavorful. The seasonings are on point and I’d recommend this to anyone wanting great seafood. 10/10!
So the wife and I decided to make the trip to the east side to try Big Willy seafood. I can tell you we were not disappointed! I had the fried grouper plate and my wife had the shrimp plate. The customer service was spot on and the food tasted great! The shrimp plate was like a small low country boil for one. We will definitely be coming back!
I was kind of disappointed. First time I've been here (Sylvester location) and it does have potential but... It's clean and the staff are courteous. The garlic shrimp was very tough and the corn on the cob was cooked to death. I don't think anything had enough seasoning except garlic. It's also not a good idea to serve unsweetened tea and not offer Splenda or some other sugar substitute. Wasnt worth it for the price.
