I have been shopping at this Big Lots on State Road 84 for approximately 10 years. I’ve purchased furniture, mattresses, several outdoor umbrellas, outdoor furniture, etc. literally spending 10+ thousand dollars. I would certainly be considered a loyal customer My last visit to the store I spent about $350 which included $69 for a charcoal grill. We use the grill the next night and the next morning the base was already rusted. Very disappointing I had to log the thing back to the store to get it returned. When I get into the store, Felicia was at the register. I complimented her on her hair and when I went to find my receipt, I didn’t have it. She told me that with no receipt, she would not return my money. I handed her my credit card and told her she could look it up that way she proceeded to talk to me, the cashier that I am a rude customer who comes returning things all the time (which is not true at all.) She then complained that she had no SKU number, and I pointed to the exact model right behind her, Proceeded to tell me without a receipt she would give me $40 back. I then asked for the Javier (the manager) I have never been spoken to with such disrespect and disregard for a customer. I was absolutely appalled. The other cashier I believe her name is Roxanne was very kind and of course Javier refunded my money as Felicia stomped out of the store. I will not return to Big Lots and will tell everyone I know about my experience unless she terminated immediately again absolutely no excuse for such rude and threatening behavior!!

I purchased a gazebo and living room sectional/rug from this location using progressive leasing. I have used progressive leasing many years, and they are a great way to get what you desire with payout within 90 days or longer. The store manager was very kind, attentive, and extended his efforts to assist me. I feel that most stores aren't worth going to if management is rude and uncaring. To see the store manager at a coconut creek store covering due to low staffing, he had the same professionalism at this location. Patience and informative of what was available to me with my services.

This is a very large Big Lots store. It is clean, organized and well stocked. The staff here are friendly, helpful and professional. There is a lot of merchandise in the store and they just put out their Halloween stock. There are discounts on summer stock, so stop by, take a look and you’re sure to find something you want. There is plenty of parking with easy access to the store.

I was in the market for a new mattress. Last minute I decided to stop into Big Lots just to see if they had anything. 20minutes later I left with a brand new King size mattress! This store has great employees. The gentleman that helped me with my mattress was incredibly helpful. He brought the mattress and box springs out to my car with twine to tie them down. Also the mattress was marked on special as a floor model sold as is. There is no damage or stains on the mattress and I saved about $1500 by getting my matress set here instead of at a standard matress store.

I got some great deals on furniture over a year ago. I forgot the name of the lady who helped me at checkout but she was super friendly and helpful. I liked the discounts offered, a pleasant surprise. Fair prices and great furniture.
