What a hidden gem! The burgers are absolutely massive, and when I say that I mean, they are a solid pound, the prime rib was amazing, and the owners are extremely nice! I was visiting from out of town and have already eaten here twice and planned to go back. Will be sad when I am gone.! Definitely recommend!!!

Go here hungry. Don’t worry about fancy-schmancy burgers, it’s 100% Dakota beef, seasoned perfect, served to you on a no-nonsense basket with fries. Is it a 8 oz patty? 12 oz? No, it’s 16 oz of pure beefy perfection. You will be overwhelmed. I fancy myself a burger lover but mistakenly (or not) ordered the fired mushroom basket to balance out my 6 Coors de-lites, and found this behemoth too much to tackle in one sitting. You good Sir or Ma’am, can do better. Go for it. Take it down. Maybe a double if you dare. But as a native Aberdonian via Minnesota I can contend nobody east of the James River has a damn good beefy burger like Big Daddy’s. It made me proud to be from So Dak! And keep a few $20’s to play Buffalo when you’re done. If you don’t want a nap first.

What an amazing find on our little trip! Unreal portions of one of the best burgers (Bruce admitted better than Dads!). Luckily we were here on a Friday!! Amazing Prime Rib cooked perfectly medium rare! So many other great choices on the menu and several specials at prices that don’t break a family. Fun atmosphere. Free soft serve for dessert. To cap off this 10/10 and make it an ELEVEN! Owner/cook came to every and I mean EVERY table to thank regulars to visitors like family. Will be back every time we are close to Aberdeen and possibly again for the trek home!!

When in town, we LOVE eating here! Food is fabulous! Owner and serving staff are super friendly!

The food was good, the service was good, but I wish the waitress would have warned me about the size of the meals before I ordered an appetizer and a main course. The burger was very very very large and after my appetizer I could only finish half. But all in all it was a pretty good experience.
