Visitor parking is about a mile away from the stadium so a mile walk in 95+ heat then sitting 3 hours plus at a hot field plus a mile walk back was not enjoyable. Parking garage was clean and easy to get to.
I would give Baylor zero stars if possible!!! They are absolutely horrible and the staff is extremely unhelpful, this is coming from a Baylor Student. Parking Services honestly makes me question my decision coming to Baylor due to the fact that parking services is a necessity for students on campus as well as those visiting, and it has only made our lives 10x harder. I have received multiple parking tickets due to errors that parking services has made and they will not appeal them. The lot I park in, there was a concrete parking block with rebar sticking out from the top and it managed to dig into my car and rib the underneath bumper off my car. This happened because when I was parking at night you cannot see anything in the parking lot because the spaces are so tight and the rebar did not make a sound until I began backing out of my spot the next day. There have also been many times where I have not been able to park in a spot due to a concrete parking block being completely torn out of the spot and it will be sitting diagonally in the parking spot and it will sit there for days with nothing being done about it. I am honestly very disappointed in Baylor and many other students are as well.
Baylor parking services have to be one of the absolute worst intutions on the Baylor Campus. All they care about is the almighty dollar and have recently made student parking permits more expensive and difficult to obtain during a pamdemic!!! If you ever have to deal with these people just know they are rude, unfreindly, and do not reflect the attitude ususally found by staff at Baylor University. If you see someone working for parking services around campus go on and tell them how HORRIBLE their department is!!!!
This service needs to be abolished. It is horrible that we pay 60k+ a year to come here yet still have to pay $300 for a parking permit and are fined extra if we park outside of our permitted areas. I don't understand why anyone would fine broke college students for a living.
They ticketed me during dead days because the parking rules “still applied” even though class wasn’t in session anymore. They care about nothing but the money they get from each ticket.
