We love Barnes and Noble and College book stores. This one was no exception. Very large selection of textbooks. Nicely laid out, not large compared to other Barnes and Nobles, but still a very nice selection of books.

I was disappointed with the selection of books. The Barnes & Noble at the Yale campus has several floors with ten times the amount of books at the Barnes & Noble in UConn. Other than that, it was clean and refreshing. I was discouraged by the fact that not one associate said, can I help you? The Barnes & Noble in Glastonbury, Connecticut, is phenomenal for its health service and knowledge. I would like to find the same at this location. And this is just my personal opinion. Clean and organized. The overhead music was 93.7 radio. The music is not child or study appropriate, and this is supposed to an area that is study friendly. And the volume was loud. I would not recommend this Barnes & Noble for studying, reading, or relaxing.

Today, a few hours ago, I went to this place to return the T-shirt I bought. However, I mistakenly brought the wrong receipt. The employee, a white girl, treated me in a way that made me feel like she was acting racist. She took my shirt but didn't give it back to me because of the incorrect receipt. She questioned how I could prove it was mine. I feel really upset about this unfair treatment and having to beg for my rights. It's disheartening to see that there are still some people in the workplace who exhibit racist behavior. I won't be returning to that location again.
