This is the BEST auto repair shop I have ever worked with. It just comes down to trust. You know you can trust a mechanic who says "don't worry about that, you can get another year before you need to replace that." I know I'm in good hands and Dan is motivated by doing good work and trying to save me money as well. So sad I will be leaving Rochester next year.

I was so pleased with the quality of service, quick turn-around, and fair pricing, that I am back there this year for other repairs. I drive an older vehicle, so expect I’ll be giving him a lot of business in the future- I feel very fortunate to have found him!

My son had a used engine installed on his 2009 Jeep Commander 3 years ago. He’s had trouble with it all along and when we brought it to Bake’s attention, they simply ignored it and said it was a used engine and there are no guarantees. So, my son has limped along with it until recently when Birds Auto (Pine Island) indicated the engine needs to be replaced again, this time for $3,888. Bakes did it for about 5k 3 years ago. But 3 years? That’s all you get out of a used engine? I would not recommend Bakes to anyone. I assume the 5 rating they get is simply many family and friends rating them high.
