This place surprises you. When you walk in it has an original feel I ordered the half rack plate it was excellent the ribs were tender and full of flavor the beans weren’t plane ole beans they were wonderful the potatoes salad well it was just ok The link of sausage that came with the ribs was good it would be better is it was hot. And the pies behind the counter I can’t tell you how that tasted because I was stuffed and couldn’t eat another bite But next time I’m going to try the pie because I definitely will be back

It's been two years since I've eaten at Backyard BBQ ( Magnolia, AR), so i was ready to devour meal. Lunch arrived fairly quickly; however, the server delivered the incorrect plate. I was allowed to keep the meal, and the correct plate was also received. The potato salad was fabulous. Baked beans with meat was magnificent, but pull pork sandwich was not as tasty as in the past. Employees very nice.

Once again we got chopped beef without the bun. It actually wasn't bad. Would I drive here just for the bbq? No. But I might for the onion rings and the fried apple pie. Both were outstanding. Some of the best rings I've ever had. Employees were nice and helpful when we were ordering.

What’s not to say! I made it back here after 4 years and same old mom and pop atmosphere a slight hint of the cooking the meat with its mouth watering aroma! The homemade banana pudding I had last time so I ventured to the coconut cream. It came with the murrain slight browned. The taste was the melt in your mouth kind…along with the ribs fixings of baked beers and long shredded coleslaw a taste of delight! Sorry I already ate some of the coconut pie???

Great BBQ and we had great service. Came in for Saturday lunch and had a brisket sandwich, beans, and corn; delicious! Could not get enough of the brisket and the beans. Co worker had the chicken basket and said it was delicious as well. Inside was clean and all the tables etc seemed relatively new. Almost drove right past the place though; the sign for the place is just painted on the wall of the restaurant. Definitely will come back!
