We were on a spring trip to visit NYC when my son, a college freshman, wanted to visit a rare book store - he wants to start collecting rare books. B & B was open and no appt was needed. Even though my son was not in the “market” to buy a book now, Josh, one of the owners spent time answering his questions and telling him a little about the books he was interested in. Josh was so nice and encouraging to my son. We'll remember this in future when ready to make a purchase and B & B will be our first call.

Both Costco and Nordstrom's legendary customer service pales in comparison to the level of service Josh, Sunday, and the B&B Rare Books team provide. Josh and Sunday make time to educate you on the ins and outs of book collecting, and they work with you on your collection regardless of whether you're new to collecting or you've been collecting for decades. I've purchased books from multiple rare / antiquarian book sellers over the years, and none come close to the white glove service, dedication, and care that Josh and Sunday provide. You'd be remiss in at least not checking out their store or giving them a call.

BEST BOOKSTORE IN NEW YORK!!!! The book store is located on the fifth floor. Do not pass this bookstore by. The owner Joshua was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He actually has books you would want in your collection. He even let me look at his newly arrived books as well. Also you can give him your information and what you are interested in. He will notify you when he runs across it. I highly recommend this bookstore and will buy from them again.

Such a wonderful bookseller! My purchase with B&B was highlighted by superior customer service and the level of care for a rare, older book that any collector would hope for. B&B is one of NYC's gems; I would certainly shop here again, and recommend to others who swoon for rare and antiquarian books!

On the fifth floor, room 500, a really wide range of first editions! Really really cool place!
