I was supposed to pick up a car Friday morning 8:00 AM. I had to be at Chapel Hill at 10:00AM but they don’t upend until 8 so I was there at 7:45 so I could get the car Ann’s be on my way. Travel time was 1hr 45 minutes if I had let at 8,8:10, that would give me time to get on time. The store wasn’t open at 8:00. The guy came in at 8:21 and gave a car with less than1/2 tank of gas. So on top of that I had to stop at the gas station. The service was not up to my expectations. I was late for my meeting and the guy was like “this is normal, nothing happens.” I rent a car from Avis every month and it’s always something with them.

Leslie at the counter is an amazing representative of Avis. I have had 2 flat tires with my cars and Leslie has gone out of his way to hold a replacement car for me twice now. I recently switched out my rental due to shaking issues and Leslie held his last car for me, even while receiving verbal abuse by another customer who demanded they take the car he was holding for me. Leslie is the definition of professionalism. Thank you Leslie!

We reserved a vehicle and Avis confirmed the vehicle, however, upon arrival to pick up the vehicle we were met with a disgruntled employee who quickly stated “we have no vehicles here and you have to go to Raleigh” absolutely no customer service skills and at this point we will not be using Avis any longer. Also, Raleigh is 1.5 hours away without traffic, thanks for the recommendation Avis… we were there to rent a vehicle, not for advice as to where we would be able to rent a vehicle. To be specific, this was the Pitt -Greenville Airport location and I would recommend NEVER attempting to do business here of any kind.

rarely rent cars but when I do it’s from Avis. Mr Leslie is not only a fine representative of the company but he embodies the definition of true customer service. You made a customer for life. As long as Leslie is there I’m here
