Check-in and check-out were smooth since you merely spoke with the employees. A new vehicle and in good condition. I purchased a sunpass-pro (15$) and saved the 20 dollars per day fee for unlimited tolls that they collect. Continually receiving text messages alerting me about every step with the rental process. Travel from washington dc to New york. Again, it was a smooth experience.
First of all I paid for what I thought was a Chevy Tahoe and got a Toyota Highlander. The car was much smaller than I had bargained for. In addition, the car was extremely scratched everywhere-it was an embarrassment. Also, the car had difficulty starting and almost left me stranded when it wouldn’t turn over. Finally, the hatch didn’t open adequately, I hit my head on it, and it knocked me out into the ground. A stranger who saw it, ran over to make sure I was OK and lifted me off the ground. They gave me a sore neck, sore back, and a headache that lasted almost a full day. Overall, it was a complete failure, and I will likely never rent from you again. Shameful! By the way, I am both a physician and an attorney. I’m contemplating further action.
This lady has told me all morning there are no cars available, but yet this is the second customer that’s not African American who has magically been able to find a vehicle to be rented but yet and still I’m being told there’s no vehicles. I’m a preferred customer to this company spending a lot of money this is sad. Avis will never get another dollar from me. CRAZY!!! Another non African American customer being serviced as I type this!!!!
Very happy with John’s great customer service!! He helped me out with a rental at the last minute. The the car was new, clean, and I will definitely use again in the future! Thank you!
My experience with Avis at the Atlantic City Airport was very bad I arrived on June 18th the book and went smoothly it wasn't until I got the vehicle that the problem started the car was very filthy the employee lied about manager not being on duty they did very little to compensate for filthiness of the vehicle would not exchange the vehicle and you can clearly see how dirty it was I will let the pictures do the talking.
