Atwest Rent A Car is the only place I go to for my rental car. Always have cars available any day of the week. Super cheap prices on weekly rentals and no need for Credit card for deposit. They will take cash instead. The manager (John) is the guy to ask for, friendly, and overall excellent customer service.....Thanks John..?

Place was great! Easy getting and returning the car. We got a free upgrade and had no problems with it! Unbelievable price and got the deposit back right away. The guy working was really helpful too. 10/10 would recommend for all 18+ ages.

The worst of the worst car rental places !!!! Had to call when I got there because no one was there attending they said 5 mins away and took 45 mins to arrive and were still very rude when they arrived and didn’t even get me a car !!!! This is the absolute worst place don’t even waste your time they don’t have anything you need!!

Couldn't be happier with the experience renting a car from Atwest. Arrived at the office, got a reliable and clean small car that was in excellent condition within 10 minutes and it ran perfectly. We originally wanted the car for a short time and extended for a week. If you are in LA and looking for a value for money car rental to see the city I definitely recommend Atwest. Returned the car today and the deposit hold was released no issues. Anthony was excellent to deal with. Thank you again great experience.

We rented a car (Hyundai Elantra) from the LA office for a week in August, 2019. I hadn't done enough homework by looking at reviews, but the deal online seemed good: $80 cheaper than others. The lady at the desk was nice, and we didn't have to wait all. However, she gave us a car that had just come in, not cleaned, so took off $20. It was pretty clean inside and started up fine, and the A/C worked. We walked around to look for dents so that we wouldn't be blamed any, but we didn't check the tires. Bad mistake. During our rental, one front tire kept giving us a low pressure light, which we tried several times to fix by filling it with air. We noticed that both front tires were pretty bald as well. When we had filled it 3 times over 2 days, it was obviously not holding. We took the car to a garage to get the leak fixed. When they looked at the tire tread, they said they were not allowed to try to remount a tire with such little tread. So we called the office in LA and spoke with the manager, who first said bring the car in to get it fixed (however we were a few hours away!) but eventually said they'd reimburse us up to $75 for a new tire. This place had a tire in that price range, so we got it replaced. When we returned the car, we handed over a receipt for the tire, $74.90 total. The lady working there said the manager would be back on Tuesday, and they had our credit card information. We waited a week and nothing. After several emails to customer service with no response, and a few phone calls that were meet with excuses like you'll have to talk the manager who isn't in today--can you call back later, or we're really busy right now--can you call back later, we finally got someone, probably a new employee, who said he'd look into it and credit our card. Hesitantly hopeful, we watched our credit card for any action, and later that day, FINALLY, almost 6 months after our rental ended, we saw a pending credit on our card which 2 days later became a REAL credit!! Oh and then there's this, which has nothing to do with our particular car situation: they didn't have their own airport shuttle--told us to get on the shuttle for the Hilton next door. Basically a low budget second (or worse) rate business. Plusses: price, good car (except for the tires!), and nice lady working at the rental desk. Minuses: unserviced car condition/dangerous tires, customer service. We had to lose precious vacation time to take care of the car, and couldn't do some things we wanted to because of being afraid of being stranded with a flat, or blowout. So 1* for price, 1* for the otherwise nice car, -3* for the irresponsible lack of maintenance, and the horrendous customer service while renting and after. Hopefully prospective customers will read these reviews and judge accordingly.
