Food was delicious & out speedy quick, our server was nice/tentative. They have a promotion going on right now where you get a free movie ticket with $25 purchase. (So, that was a sweet surprise) The reason why I’m giving them less than a perfect score is they gave us the incorrect change!

Horrible experience last couple of times there, will not go back again. I mean, even if waitress is new, who on their right minds think this appetizer looks good to be served to ANYONE!? and the time before that I asked for a parmesan shrimp sirloin well done and was missing parmesan sauce and missing the shrimps also sirloin was burnt and my boyfriend's wanted he's medium well and he got he's well done. Also waitress gave us our drinks and went chit-chat with her co-workers while we waited for her for about 15-20 minutes for her to come to us and ask for our order and last but not least our appetizers took forever to come to the table. It was not busy AT ALL. Not going back. Can't forget to mention, too many flies to count.

The service today was awful. We arrived at around 4:50pm then it took till about 5:20pm before someone even talked to us and it was only because my wife asked to order. Then after ordering we didn't get drinks for another 10 minutes. Then my wife and I didn't get our food until about 6:15pm. Luckily my kids got theirs sooner otherwise they would've been a handful. Overall very disappointed in this visit.

Not the friendliest of staff. It appeared Nailea (our server) may have been new but tried to come across as friendly, unfortunately not quite succeeding. Only looked like they had 2 servers on, with 5 tables sat when we initially went in. Only 1 table (a 2 top) came in after us & mind you the ONLY additional table that came in the whole time we ate. However, there was 3 tables that sat dirty the entire time we dined (approximately 35 minutes). The air was turned up too high & was beyond freezing. Overheard a guest with a baby next to our table talking about how cold it was. I also had to go out to my car to grab a sweatshirt. The barbecue wings had an over abundance amount of sauce, which gave a burning sensation in the throat. The waffle fries we got as an appetizers were OK, but considering people "eat with their eyes 1st" they plating was a little messy but A for effort on the taste, which really was just OK... definitely not worth all the hype from the commercials. The chicken salad bowl I ordered was EXTREMELY dry!! Even the chicken was dry. I was able to take about 2 bites & just couldn't bare drinking water just 2 get it down! 🤦‍♀️ The wonton tacos were over-cooked & the sauce seemed to not be mixed properly. The only thing that seemed to be decent was the oreo shakes my daughter & I ordered & my son's 3 cheese mac & cheese. Except his breadstick was almost burnt & hard as a rock! Applebee's (in Rapids for now at least) will most likely never have my business again until they step up their customer service & cooking skills!! It's obvious why Applebee's is declining in business.

I should have known better than to order a steak at Applebee's. I had the 12 oz ribeye medium rare,it came out well done. My sister ordered the sirloin medium well it was so well done it was like a rock. Send them back, on the second try they got it right. But I had already eaten my sides so they wouldn't get cold.
