Nice gallery space / party space. Feels quite private and hidden with an unassuming storefront. Old NY building. Several floors of great gallery space. Aperture (floor 4) has had amazing displays when I have gone. Elevator is so so slow.

Did exactly what I expect from most gallery spaces and made me outraged at how mediocrity is often mistaken for excellence, If you like photos of other people's art ( photo of statue of Romulus and Remus not made by "artist" labeled as "Dog Statue" lol, photos of other people's paintings etc..) and hyper commercial and derivative works then this will get you excited. Hidden amongst the dross and semi competent but, uninspired and culturally uninformed work are some nice prints. Especially welcome was the exhibit of community work by children, easily comparable with that of the established "artists". Meh, welcome to the slow demise of western culture. It is free to look at pictures, as it should be, but is sadly seldom the case these days.

Great space in a central Chelsea with many galleries on 6 floors.
