The ticket system works perfectly and even gives an alarm at my android phone minutes before the show, easy to manage and buy. The move was clean when we got there, and the image and sound were clear as April skies. This is really a good chance to watch a movie if you are going to a IMAX movie, don't take the near front spots, better take place at the middle of de room.
Okay so we love AMC so nothing against them. The staff was nice. The movie was good. The MOST DISGUSTING location my husband and I have ever been to hands down. From the concessions having popcorn, grease, soda and of course trash everywhere to the bathrooms and even the seats in the theater being covered in grease. We just moved to the area not too long and this was the closest one to us. However, we will be driving 30 minutes next time just to go to a nicer theater. Oh also, this was a Sunday evening showtime we went to. I never wanna know what that place looks like on a Friday 😬
Clean, was a quick check on since I ordered My tickets online. Had reserved seats , so seating wasn't an issue at all. Prices at the snack area extremely outrageous , but then all theaters are these days. A hot dog for $8. Unreal. Saw Twister :). Give it a 7 out of 10.
Movie and theater seating was great. However, the staff completely ruin this experience by not caring one bit about the cleanliness or availability of product. The butter and condiments area was a mess. It looked horrible with butter everywhere and used paper napkins all about. It was disgusting. I asked a worker for a straw after seeing there were none available and he said he didn't know, I asked him if he worked here and he just said IDK 😐. (Clearly he did, AMC SHIRT was on, didn't care a bit). I cannot justify paying so much for a drink to not even have a straw to drink it with. Terrible.
This AMC is located in the Orange Park Mall, which is both fun and an issue. Teens tend to be loud and wandering in and out of theaters the last two times I visited. It takes away from the movie-going experience. The other challenge is it always takes an average of 20 minutes to get concessions due to long lines.
