The prices were the same as everywhere else so I can't complain there. I love the drink varieties! They have one of the soda machines with a million options, so that's awesome! I love that the seats are fabric, but they feel so cramped. I couldn't comfortably sit next to my husband without feeling like my elbow was in his face whenever I reached for the popcorn.
The once greatest movie theater around Tri-Cities is showing some true age. Though it’s old, and showing age, it’s still a great place to go watch some movies, they have 7 dollar movies on Tuesdays. The seats don’t recline but they’re comfortable enough to keep you awake throughout the movie(they really aren’t as uncomfortable as some people say on these reviews.) It feels like you’re about to watch a movie in a ghost town, which is extremely sad because we would always come to this theatre as kids and it was always full; That is also awesome because we have the theatre all, if not, almost all to ourselves. Customer service is awesome! They really try to make sure you’re 100% set on watching your movie. Their prices are comparable to all other movie theaters, they make their money off of concessions. It’s not a brand new theater but it’s still one to check out if you like the calm movie experience.
They shut down the popcorn stand at 8 pm. Dude.....the movie didn't get over until past 10, but I guess we just don't need a refill on the popcorn we bought. Like so weird..... Also, this theater is always too dark and too loud. I HATE coming here. The only saving grace is the fact that they play old movies.
I remember when they built this theater, and it was the nicest theater around. It is still a good theater, but it is showing it age now. The seats are typical of seats from 20+ years ago and don't recline. The screens are fine but not as big as some newer theaters. Concessions are expensive, but that is true everywhere. The grounds and parking are showing their age too, but there is still a lot of parking, even with the truck trailers parked there by the dozen.
Haven't been to the movies in years. There was no one at ticket counter; had to stand in the concessions line to purchase tickets. Only friendly person was the ticket taker. The bathroom was absolutely filthy, disgusting -- the toilet, the floor, and the sink area. The theater floors had not been swept for a while either (garbage all over the floor). I wonder how long it's been since the cup holders have been cleaned?
