How many times have I heard? We only had one agent show up today. Result is I have a 1 to 2 hour wait? One, 800 number won’t ever let me call ahead and speak to a local person. And then they don’t have the vehicle that I require.? is there anyway this free market to run people out of business? I would like to know how.

I rented the car at Alamo Rogue Valley International Airport for about 10 days last December 29 thru Jan 8th for my trip to Southern California. Although I booked it thru a third party company ( hotwire) The price iI got was the best deal! When I came in to pick up the premium SUV it was just what I was expecting and very pleased with the vehicle they gave me. AJ was incredibly helpful, efficient and very professional in his manners. the rental took probably 10 minutes at the most. I couldn’t be more happier with the process. As I came back from my trip I returned the car and Tess helped me and she processed my return quickly and my deposit came back as promised. Wow! I thought this is by far the best rental experience I’ve had at at Medford airport( Alamo) Then after going home, I realized I left something in the car which must have been dropped in the slot between the drivers or passenger seat.. I just knew it there so when I called them, they said they have it and Jenny offered to fedex it to ny home address. I am just awed by the kind of customer service they offer. These are the kind of employees that value outstanding service to their customers. I greatly appreciate your awesomeness and professionalism. Thanks to Alamo Staff Medford Oregon. A+++

The staff were nice, the car was nice.....I gave them my CC and signed for the charge when I collected the car....after returning the car they gave me a receipt.....5 days later I get a nasty letter from their collections office demanding payment....after a lot of work on my end to work out how to make the payment from overseas, I resolved the matter....not sure what they did with the original charge on my CC (I was not double billed)...Renting a car is already scary (risky), but doing everything right on my end and then get threatening letters from a collection department is very off putting....think twice before going with this company

I've alway used Alamo at the Medford airport and usually have no issues until recently. I rented a late model toyota camry and after a round of golf unfortunately locked my keys in the trunk. [side note: some brainiac at alamo decided to issue both sets of keys to their renters and you can't separate them. So if you lose one, you lose both. Real smart.] Unfortunately the Camry does not have an external trunk release. When I used the FOB to open the trunk, it did not unlock the car so you can see where this is going. I reached out to Alamo and they issued a 3rd party service truck who was able to get into the car, but without the FOB the car assumed it was being stolen so the Alarm blared and the electronic button trunk release was inactivated. The only option was to try access the trunk from the back seat. Unfortunately, the only way to release the seat is from inside the trunk. The serviceman attempted to gain access to the trunk in various ways and as I was on the phone most of this time, I do not know exactly what he tried, but he eventually gave up and I was left in a dark empty parking lot with no options. Eventually, around mid-night, I made my way to the Medford Airport and regaled the person at the Alamo desk of my trials. Of course, they had no keys for this car. They also refused to rent me another vehicle. I went to Avis and paid $400 for another car (for 1 day). I had to fly home without my golf clubs and my wallet, being locked in the trunk. Alamo had the car towed to a Toyota dealership to have the trunk opened. A few weeks later I was able to reclaim my clubs and wallet, but the $200 golf travel bag that was in the back seat had mysteriously disappeared. Fast forward a few weeks and I receive notification that I am being charged over $800 for repairs to the backseat of the car. Damage that was apparenly inflicted by the serviceman who attempted to gain access to the trunk. Despite my informing many Alamo officials that whatever was done to the back seat was not my doing, they still proceeded to send the bill to a collection agency and inform me that I will never be allowed to rent from Alamo (including Enterprise/National) again. Now that is some customer service. So at the end of all this, Alamo cost me over $1400 for something that could be easily avoided by keeping one key behind the desk. Absolutely the worst car rental experience of my life.

Made a reservation on priceline for an economy car that came with accident insurance. Get to alamo and am told that the insurance from priceline is void there. Told me i had to buy alamo insurance. So I did. Then they tell me it was over $200. I dropped off the car ,which was a mini van, on time. There wasn't anyone at the desk so I just put the keys in their drop box. Ended up getting a late fee charged to me for over $100. Tried to dispute but alamo must be greedy. Im now getting charged almost $400 by these crooks. Never again will I rent from them
