I recently rented from Alamo Car Rental at Charlotte’s Douglas International Airport and I chose the skip the line option. From the time I stepped onto the lot until the return of the vehicle, I had nothing less than phenomenal Customer Service. I was immediately greeted and assisted to my vehicle, and my bags were placed in the vehicle for me. The vehicle was very clean. There were several associates available for further assistance throughout the lot. Very nice vehicles available. I also received communications regarding airline software issues that may have affected my rental period and the need for adjustments. I will be an Alamo Car Rental for life. The experience was 1000 times better than an experience at another airport with another well known rental company!

I had a reservation with Alamo Rent A Car in Charlotte, NC, located at 5489 R Josh Birmingham Pkwy, for a 5 AM pickup. However, when I arrived, the vehicle I reserved was not ready. The agents were incredibly dismissive of the system error that caused this issue and simply stated that I would have to wait until after 8 AM for a car to become available. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had taken a $63 Lyft from my home early in the morning to arrive at the airport on time for my reservation. To make matters worse, the only resolution they offered was a vehicle at a $25/day increase. With no other options and to avoid an extensive delay due to their error, I had no choice but to take the more expensive vehicle. This forced me to pay more than I had budgeted for my trip, which was very disappointing and inconvenient. I would never recommend this location, and definitely not their agents. They showed a complete lack of care for their customers and provided an overall terrible experience. Avoid this Alamo location if you can. They do not care about their customers or providing reliable service.

Alamo always goes above and beyond for their customers!! I will actually pay more just to rent from Alamo because they make it so easy to go straight to my car! Kevin was also so accommodating to help me with my bill!! I've rented here at least 15 times and always excellent!

Great experience with Alamo. A small wait at the counter (15-20 minutes) but once I got to the counter I was in a car in less than 10 minutes. Rented a nice and very new mid-size SUV and it worked great. Drop off process was a breeze.

Excellent, walk straight to car with a selection of vehicles. Got in and drove away. Vehicle in excellent condition. Return was very fast and simple with a person meeting us at the car to provide a receipt. By the time we got luggage out we were done. The price I rented for. No haggle or negotiation. Service with a smile.
