Although I had quite a wait to pick up the rental car I had reserved, the gentleman helping me was very nice & helpful. He was the only one working at all that day so he had to complete the paperwork and wash/sanitize the car prior to me getting it. And it was super hot that day - in the 90's. Dropping off was a very easy process.

They were organized and ready when I got there. Upgraded us from a sedan to a sports car for a very reasonable fee. On the return day we asked to change the drop off location at the last minute & they made the necessary changes to our rental agreement, which allowed us to do so. Great rental experience, will certainly use Alamo again.

Only giving 4 out of 5 stars because I was contacted day before reservation indicating I needed to go to a different location to pick up the rental. And the this new location took approx 1 hour to complete the behind the scenes paperwork (which I never rec'd any hard copies or electronic copies) and to wash and clean the rental vehicle. In the end, I was charged approx $50 over the amount on the reservation but they did take care of it after I mentioned this error.

This location is closed. I had pre-paid for this rental on 8/12 on the Alamo website. I showed up to Alamo on 8/14 only to realize that i had to go to an Enterprise branch (Anaheim, Harbor Blvd).. i quickly called back my ride to drop me off at Enterprise. After waiting for 1.5 hrs at Enterprise i was FINALLY given an SUV per my reservation. It was given to me with less than a 1/4 tank of gas. The gentlemen that was helping me made it seem that there would be a discount because I had already been waiting 1.5 hours to get my pre-paid reservation. I was also late to a family funeral because of this. After I got in to the car i quickly noticed the DISGUSTING scent of cigarettes. I had no choice but to take this car as I was already late and there were no other SUVs on the lot. I eventually had to exchange the vehicle later that day in Ontario which was also very inconvenient. On top off that I was charged an additional $14 the day after I dropped off the rental in Anaheim. I was able to get a refund for the $14 but again, very inconvenient...

Ugh, of course my car broke down when I was in Anaheim for work. Alamo was the closest rental place to me so I took an Uber there in a leap of blind faith that they would be able to help me out of a bind. The location was empty when I walked in besides for one employee behind the front counter and I think he was excited to finally have a customer! I explained my situation to him and he was happy to help out! He quickly walked me through the list of available options before I decided to go with a mid-sized sedan. I got an almost new Kia that looked great both inside an out. The entire rental process took no more than 45 minutes and I was in and out in enough time to still grab lunch before my next meeting started. These guys really helped me out big time so thank you for the EXCELLENT customer service and promptly solving my problem!
