This is our 1st time to rent from AVR and we are a regular car renter but this office is the best one! I would not mind driving from Irvine to rent from them. All the staff are great specially Ms Alicia. It is fun to talk to all of them and if there is a rating more than 5 stars I would give them. Our family had a good time thanks to their 15 seater Van?

I recommend anyone who wants to rent a car to go to Avis or somewhere. I made a reservation via Expedia the night before. It took about an hour to get to the facility because their van took so long, waited another 1 hour in line, then finally my turn and when I talked with them, they told me they don’t have any more car to rent. Wasted my precious time and extra work ******** I got reply from them saying they are always doing everything they can do for their customers... I doubt that! Knowing that I made a reservation a night before, they didn’t put any effort to let me know that they don’t have any more car to rent, until not by the appointment time I made,but after I actually got there and waited 1 hour. I wasted more than 2 hours, did extra work like took the shuttles 2 times, with 2 suitcases etc. Spend extra money for Uber to go to Avis. And they DIDN’T apologize for me. They just told me there’s no more car to rent. I don’t think they feel bad for their bad service at all.

Agree folks. Stay Away !!! Just arrived to LAX and thankfully called for my pick up and no answer.Sent me to voicemail? Tried several times. Message says take the shuttle to a lot and Then call for pick up, I would be stuck right now. Thank goodness I know how to get another rental. Boom walked out of LAX & new shuttle already pulled up to take me to a competitor.

This place is a fraud - try to avoid it by all means! Had a horrible experience at this place. I was attended by this person with the name of Alexander. The car was to be returned by 6pm and I was there 15 mins before the deadline. I was deliberately made to wait and then I was overcharged for the next whole day suggesting that I was late! Yeah, right! I was additionally made to wait for 1 hour and the person suggested that there were dents on the car, which after doing the diligence, the person realized that the dents where by the previous renter and not me! 1 full hour wasted and I was late for my flight. Horrible experience. Avoid the cheaters!

These guys are great! I rented a car for a week from them and the experience was perfect. They gave me a 10% Yelp discount which was great. I had a small issue with the car but when I returned they fixed everything for me and were very professional. They even gave me a free shuttle to the local BART station which was very helpful. I would highly recommend using these guys.
