The staff is great they are all really nice but most are on crack. There are bed bugs out the ass. The shower never worked and they never had hot water. The bathrooms were disgusting in every room we were in (3 different rooms to be exact). The roof was falling in outside. And to top it all off we froze our asses off the whole time there was zero heat a d very little insulation. If it helps any one of the staff members litterally told me "you can get just about any drugs you want here. Its great its like a candy store but with drugs." Please dont bring kids here.
There is a new owner, and he seems to really care and is already changing and remodeling the whole place from one side to the other like he has stated in a letter he hand delivered to each door. He is totally remodeling rooms from top to bottom, has already thrown out everything that is in the rooms as he goes along... And going to continue to do until everything that was ever "Abilene motel bed bug infested" is completely gone. He is replacing everything BRAND NEW, also going to re-open the kitchen/Grill/Bar area, there is already like a mini store you can get some of ur daily essential items you may need or want. I can't wait to see what has yet to come of this new owner who seems to care about the tenants and not just a money hungry slum Lord!
It was the worst place i have ever stayed. There was no hot water the entire month we were there and he rented to us KNOWING we had a small child. The owner is crooked and a thief and a horrible person. The "office managers" are meth heads and the place is a fire hazard waiting to happen. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
bed bugs in all the rooms I saw myself..the front desk clerk gave me the keys and said tell me which one you want.. all had bed bugs..and cockroaches the size of my hand..for god sake if you have anywhere else in the world to stay..do not go to this motel.it would be better for you to go and buy a tent and find some bushes nearby..I am not joking this is not an over exaggeration I just wish that I would have been warned better so I'm warning you..I called the Better Business Bureau they already have an F with them there's nothing they could do so I called the health department then the code enforcement..they should burn this place down and start over.the city of Abilene has their hands tied they cannot condemn it while people are still living in it without paying to relocate all of those families..
If i could make a -5 star reveiw i would this is sad. I paid 300 for 2 weeks... it is filled with crack heads & meth heads... theres mice... bed bugs... roaches... the walls are covered in whatever liquid got thrown on the walls & never cleaned... hot water doesnt work... when we first got to the room we opened the door & instatly got over whelmed by the animal pee been here 2 nights & was supposed to be given a mini fridge & microwave because we are extended stay but nope not yet... this place isnt worth it & if i had anywhere else to go i would leave... cant forget that they are literally rightbnext door to PEST PATROL
