Something to know before going: CASH ONLY Other than me being a person who never carries cash and having to go to the atm; the owner made me feel super comfortable about buying and looking at stuff. Ive never been to a brick & mortar store that sold coins so it was a bit awkward at first but the man behind the counter was very personable and knowledgeable. He knew what he was talking about. And did it mention the price is well below anyone else? I will definitely be returning.

The business owner, Leroy, is extremely kind and helpful. As a beginner coin collector, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. When I asked about how much certain coins are worth, he showed me where I can get price estimations and where he gets them. He also will take coins and send them to professional graders to have them evaluated. My family had some old coins that we wanted to get graded, and he took time to look at them and then agreed to send them for grading. As I am an absolute beginner in the world of coin collectors, he could’ve taken advantage of me and purchased them much lower than value, but he pointed out that they could be potentially worth 5 figures. If you want to buy coins, have them sent for grading, need coin supplies, or just have questions about coins, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not go to Aberdeen Coin Gallery. I could not recommend Leroy and his shop more.

I inherited some old coins from my grandmother I wanted to get an idea of value. I am not really that I want to sell them. Once I made that clear to the man working behind the counter. He got very impatient with & didn't want to help me. Overall not a good experience here

My first impression of Mr. Jones was incredibly pleasant. He kindly inquired about the specific items I was looking for and went above and beyond to provide them. It was evident that he genuinely cared about meeting the needs of his customers. I firmly believe that if you treat him with kindness, he will reciprocate it indefinitely. I am definitely planning to revisit this place regularly, aiming for at least four times a month if possible.

Great uncle passed away & left us quite a large coin collection, so we have been checking out places to sell them. The guy that works here seemed very impatient and didn't want to really take the time to look at our items. Definitely do not recommend
