Store was really dirty. I don't expect any convenience store at noon on a workday to be spotless, but the beverage area was extremely sticky and there was trash on the floor in multiple places. They were out of hotdogs and pizza. There were a couple of containers of wings that looked old and dried out. Both Slurpee machines were out of order. I visit multiple 7-11s several times a week and this was one of the worst I have visited in a long time.
I wouldn’t even give it a stare I wanted to break my 20 dollar bill and pay for my slushy separately as i told her. And she the lady over night took my bill and payed for it without even asking and me as a cashier I would have asked if you wanted to pay for the drink as well and that is something she did not i walked out of the unsatisfied
Went to grab a snack the shelves were empty and the owner or manager was stocking the shelves as I was trying shop which is understandable. The problem was the hot food that was in the warmers, everything looked old and not very appealing but I was very hungry and not familiar with the area so I chanced it and selected the least unappealing item which was the wings. As I was walking to the van I opened the ranch packet and it looked old and separated the oil had separated from the ranch. It was very old. I went to exchange the ranch for another. When tried the fist wings it was inedible the texture was slimy and the chicken could be confused with jerky if it wasn’t on the bone. I tried to get a refund but the cashier yelled at the manager… “Uncle” to get his attention I politely told him I wasn’t happy but before I could finish he cut me off saying “no exchanges” I told him I don’t want an exchange I want a refund and again before I could finish my sentence he aggressively said “no refunds”. I walked away in furious of the situation and tossed the wings in the trash where they should’ve been over an half an hour ago. I will never eat anything from that 7/11 again. Other 7/11’s have at least decent customer service but this gas station has terrible customer service and they need to be updated on the food shelf life rules. Quick Trip is the example of great customer service and food quality that this company should try to base off of.
I will never attempt to eat a single thing from the 7-Eleven again. It really stinks because it’s the only 7-Eleven between Haslet and Northwest ISD so I have to stop there everything in the hot boxes and half the time on the grill is burned badly. This is literally the worst 7-Eleven I have ever attempted to buy food from And I love 7-Eleven pizza, wings, and taquitos, when they’re not hard as a rock and half blackened. And that’s when they even have food in the hotbox. Why would you have breakfast sandwiches but not have them in the hotbox during breakfast hours? Same lunch and dinner ridiculousness.
A good place eto get some good snacks and see a few BNSF ES44s behind the parking lot.
