Absolutely amazing stop! The food was all handmade, delicious and hit the spot. While staying here we tried their house special fried wontons, handmade pizza, beer battered onion rings and their club with freshly prepared coleslaw. This Cafe has everything you would want all in one location. If you're staying here overnight, they come fully equipped with showers, bathrooms, coin operated laundry and all the RV hookups. Free WiFi for guests. Picnic tables are at every RV spot with a truly grand view of Lion's Head and the rest of the Matanuska Glacier grandeur. For those who want a quick and easy hike, they have you covered as well. Grand View Cafe and RV truly is one of Alaska's hidden gems. We can't wait to come back!

No joke, this was the best meal we had over two weeks in Alaska. The Nancy dumplings were great but the braised pork was absolutely phenomenal. Everything we ate was fabulous and the staff were super friendly. I can’t say enough nice things about the place!

I have been stopping in to Grand View for twenty years. There was a recent change in ownership, and I will say it is just as great as before. The new owners carried over much of what the previous owners did, including the same coffee; the regular pot coffee is still great. They now have an extended menu to include more Asian food, and the beef noodle soup is also very good. There was plenty of meat and noodles for a robust meal. Service was very friendly. I am happy to say, I will be continuing to stop at my favorite haunt between Anchorage and Valdez. :)

We stayed here in our RV for two nights. We did not eat at the restaurant, but appreciated that it was available. The sites are basic with hook ups and on gravel with no greenery in the park, but the scenery around the area is breathtaking. We watched Dall sheep up on the mountain from our campsite. Good and clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. It does cost to take a shower- $3 for 8 minutes. Close proximity to the Mananuska glacier and the MICA guides. We hope to be back on day soon!

Beautiful mountain views and a great stop! They have a nice little cafe but we didn't eat there. Mountains all around, got to play in the snow, convenient on the road to Valdez. Cabins, showers, laundry, and wifi. Mark was great! We had a stone fire pit and end spot. Would definitely stay again.
