Arrived right before puck drop for Round 1, Game 4 of the Hurricanes vs Islanders. Called earlier in the week to ensure they'd have the game on. Asked to have the game put on one of the 12 or so TVs, was told "if you can figure out what channel". Got the game going just a couple of minutes later. They had a couple of local draughts but the out server couldn't explain anything about them. Ordered Salt & Pepper and Mild wings, average typical bar wings. The Tater Tots were perfect! At a tad before 4 pm, our server asked if we could settle our bill, as she was off at four. From the time she left until the game was over at 5:45 pm, (nearly two hours) nobody cleared our high top, checked on us, offered another drink... Our table was directly in front of the server station. Every server passed our table numerous times. It's cool place tons of sporting banners, ample seating inside and an awesome outdoor patio area. Bar management has failed their staff. I would not recommend Tailgators.

I went here today and got the chips and queso and Gator nuggies with sauce. The gator nuggies were very good and the sauce complemented them very nicely. Today was Wednesday and they had a special burger club sandwich between Texas toast. I really liked the burger club but it was too much food for me to eat. The toast didn’t really taste like Texas toast but it was still very good. The service and atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t very crowded when I went.

I've been going here for about a year, and the slow decline has finally driven me away. Last night we went for dinner, and it was just too bad of an experience to come back from. First, 1 server is for the whole restaurant is just a bad idea. The host ended up being our server since the real server was too busy, and he was amazing. Great job done there. Our apps arrived and the poppers were still frozen in the middle. Not cold, still visible ice cubes. Sent them back and the new fires came out SUPER overcooked. Very overdone, but whatever. The salads came out and were not at all what we ordered. Two chef salads. Both requested no onions and one requested no tomatoes. Well you can rest assured knowing they both came out loaded with onions and tomatoes. The chicken bites that were ordered were pretty sad for the price. Very poor all around and unfortunately, we won't be returning. Just too many bad experiences here.

First time going here, I called in a Togo order. Upon arrival I paid in cash, total was $12.70 gave $15.00 was asked if I wanted my change, yes I do. I do tip on Togo orders by not 20%. I can only assume she didn’t like that as when she brought my change she pointed to my order and said “that’s your order over there” rather than making an effort to get it for me. I placed a tip on the counter but immediately picked it back up and I’m glad I did as there were no utensils nor napkins supplied with my order. Now for the food…… I ordered the breaded buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich did not resemble a buffalo chicken sandwich I’d ever seen before and it was nothing short or disgusting. The bun was so stale that when playing rock paper scissors with my kids I grabbed the bun and broke the rock. While this was my first visit to this establishment it is also my last. Buffalo sauce on Dino nuggets at home is better.

We have gone to Tailgators several times a month for the past few years and have never had an issue until this past weekend. It was a Saturday at lunch and most of the tables were open, surprisingly. We were sat immediately and continued to sit for at least 10 minutes. Our server never came to the table and no one took a drink order. All the staff aside from the bartender were standing around on playing on their phones or talking to people at other tables. We left and went to another restaurant. I emailed to let them know about the horrible service but never heard back. That's two strikes. Not sure if we'll be returning anytime soon.
