The park is about the only thing to do in Pampa, so that's nice, but it's poorly kept up. Lots of paint chips and sun bleached paint. The worst part, though, is that lifeguards are a bunch of young kids. I watched one girl and guy flirt the entire time I went through the lazy river 3 times and never once did they take their eyes off each other, meaning they weren't watching people. Another young man had his cell phone in his pack and was texting. I definitely wouldn't trust just sending my kids there without someone paying attention, thankfully my husband is a lifeguard and was with us the entire time.

To start, I'm a lifeguard and seeing these lifeguards on their phones and talking more to each other than watching the water was annoying. The equipment is not well maintained. The snack bar was good. For being the onlybthing to do in pampa really it was OK.

Fun little getaway for the day when coming from Amarillo. Never extremely crowded Lazy River is a bit small but doable. My only complaint is it's 100 degrees and they kick you out of the pool for a 30 minute pool break. My son enjoys it here so we will return! 👍

It wasn't too busy, and it was chill. There are lots of curves around the lazy river, but it's my favorite thing to do. Swim in it, not float ..great atmosphere to swim in.
