Fajita burrito was excellent and highly recommended. Mole was fantastic as well. This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is a good family or meeting place; and it was affordable. Exceptional service. Update: Second visit not so good. Mole was served differently, perhaps over microwaved chicken. No flavor. Service was okay but they forgot parts of my order and seemed to have miscommunications. One of my dining companions remarked, "beautiful food...before it enters the mouth" ... I might return and give them another chance. Third visit also not great. Service is good but the food is lacking taste. It's a good family place but that's it.

Me and my family come up from Phoenix, I had the mole enchiladas, just like my mom would make for us 😋 the rice and beans whet just like home, my wife had the tortilla soup 🍲 it was good she said (couldn’t finish it all) the chips and salsa where also good! Our waitress was friendly and helpful, (Denise) the next time we are up here I would definitely come back and try something new, I highly recommend la sierra mexican restaurant to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The chips and salsa were the BEST, delicious, homemade, and fresh. It’s not something I usually eat but wished we had more! The Taquitos La Sierra with shredded beef had excellent flavor. They were larger in diameter,very juicy, and made with flour tortillas which was not what I expected but the flavor was outstanding. The bean burritos were also excellent. Not good traveling in the car food due to juicy and runny sauces and flavors, but worth it for the flavor!

Went there based in a local’s recommendation. I had the Camarones de la Crema. It was DELICIOUS! Salsa and chips and my Skinny Margarita were all great as well! The staff were nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place! Looking forward to going back next time I’m in Payson.

This place is easy choice , Very good attentive customer service servers are super nice ! , food is 10/10 , clean gives authentic and traditional absolutely recommend, I will be coming back ! 👍🏻
