This take out spot has taken on the “I don’t care how I look” feel of the whole airport. Boxes of supplies are stacked on the pick up counter. One poor sushi chef has to do the sushi and watch the orders coming off the kiosk. Self-order is fine but then staff the place adequately. Is there no one is PHL who cleans anything? Food was fine. Cauliflower fried rice. Seemed like the chef was good he just had no help.

Small selection of vegetarian food. The taste we was okay. The soup had minimal amount of vegetables. The vegetables dumpling was not too bad. I guess it’s good enough for airport food.

I love Ramen. I love Pho. Maybe I'm spoiled by having awesome restaurants near me for both, with interesting combinations of toppings, flavors, and delicious broths. I've seen some wonderful variations at other places. I'm generally fond of most related dishes. I was excited for something more interesting than a burrito at the airport. They only had one or two options that looked veg-friendly. They did have a vegetable based broth - which is awesome! But, it needs a lot of work. The Ramen was food, a somewhat small portion, but more or less took care of my hunger. That aside the flavor was pretty meh - the broth was almost flavorless, the carrots were completely raw and overwhelmed everything else, it seemed like kind of half hearted fast food Ramen that wasn't fully cooked and had only a few relatively boring toppings for full fine dining prices (granted, airport prices, but still disappointing for what it was). Maybe I got unlucky and they *could* do better? But I would have kept looking for another dish from another venue in hind sight. I wish I could say it was amazing, but for half the price it would have still been disappointing. The service was a little slow, but friendly. The atmosphere was fine for being adjacent to an airport hallway.

Paid airport price of $9 for miso soup. Did not expect it to take 18 minutes for miso soup. Good thing I was early for my flight. Also the establishment violates City of Philadelphia ordinance Chapter 9-1132. (Look it up if you're curious). At least the soup was decent and the staffer helping on the store side was friendly and trying to be helpful.

So I ordered sushi from their online menu. Worst sushi I've ever eaten. Everything but the rice was fake, it was poorly wrapped the shrimp was fried in the same batter as the pork, and tasted more like the pork. The Wasabi was a neon green and had a bad taste. Worst of all since I ordered online I wasn't allowed to sit in the restaurant and had to roam the airport looking for a seat. Never go here you are wasting your money.
