I recently visited the AMC movie theater in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and I had a fantastic movie-going experience. The theater's facilities and services were top-notch. We first actually drove here from over 2.5+ hours away. Front was very warm, and the place was honestly pretty messy. Everywhere. Was our first time here, so not sure if it's like it all the time. Got popcorn and drinks. Moved to the side of the registers on the opposite side because that's where they had open butter stations. Which by the way were a disaster as well. Went into theater 7 which was the Dolby Cinema theater, and the seats and floor were pretty dirty as well. Before we even went into the movie the right trashcan at the movie theater entrance was overflowing. At the end of the movie, the left was overfilled as well and it was just trash stacked everywhere. Movie was good, but honestly, I just still can't get over the fact of how dirty everything was.

Went yesterday to see Twisters, fantastic movie by the way. Concession area however is a mess. Ordered a pretzel with cheese but told they had no cheese. OK forget that. Popcorn it is. Go to fill up our drinks and all 4 drink stations have no ice and are a sticky mess. Trash cans are full. No towels in the bathroom to wipe your hands. The mats in front of the drinks are soaking wet and sticky as well. Not sure what staff is doing but I can tell what they're not. And turn the volume on the previews down geez. Still deaf in one ear.

We went to see a movie 7/27/2024. The theater was so hot & from what I’m reading this is not an isolated incident. We were miserable the whole time & even watching the clock to see how much longer we had to sit in an 85+ degree theater with zero air flow. This made the theater stink too! Everyone walking out wiping their necks & pulling stuck clothing off of them. Miserable $55 dollar activity for sure . Bathrooms, toilet wouldn’t flush, people laughing over one sink giving soap & only one giving water. No towels for hands. This place has gotten out of control. Will definitely never be back!

I took my granddaughters, who rarely get to go to the movies. One of the chairs did not recline. She was so disappointed. The volume in the previews was extremely loud, it hurt their ears. The girl at the front was extremely helpful in guiding me through ticket purchases at the kiosk. The name of the movie that is playing at each theater would be helpful to insure we are in the correct one. (The front girl assisted us in that also!)
