I love Penn Cinema! Since the opening of this theater the management, staff, food and entire facility have been absolutely incredible! We are so lucky to have a theatre like Penn Cinema so close to home. The greatest part of our experience is the way all of the staff treat my youngest daughter with special needs. They provide any accommodation she needs to enjoy her movie experience. The staff create a wonderful and calming environment and make her feel so welcome in the theatre. They meet our entire family with kindness and respect every time we come to the movies. We are thankful to everyone who works here! I would recommend anyone to see a movie at Penn Cinema. No matter your need they will meet them!!

This place has a perfect small local theater atmosphere, but new and clean. The pizza in the front is very decent for a theater. We have a rented out a room for birthdays and played our own movie several times because it is easy to work with the staff and it is very affordable.

Good afternoon, My friends and I come to Penn Cinema regularly. I wanted to express my surprise and gratitude with a recent visit to your theater. My friends and I came to Penn Cinema a few weeks ago. During the movie, my Air Pods had fallen out of my pocket. I actually did not notice until dropping my friends off after the show. I did go back up there quickly but the theater had already closed and the staff had gone home. I honestly wrote them off as it would be easy for someone cleaning the theater to pocket them. I would have had no recourse and would have to accept that they were gone for good. It is shame that I feel this way but it is the world we live in today. I was encouraged to call the next day to see if anyone had turned them in but I really thought they were gone. I did call and spoke to Chelsea. To my absolute amazement, she immediately told me that one of the staff cleaning the theater had turned them in later after the movie. She was incredibly kind and I went up the next evening to pick them up. I explained that I was not expecting them to turn up and expressed my gratitude and astonishment that they were actually returned! I have to say that my faith has been partially restored that there are some people in this world still willing to do the right thing. I was incredibly thankful and left something for the person who had found it. I wanted the person to know how thankful I was. Thanks Chelsea and to the person who turned them in as I am very grateful. We will continue to patronize your theater. It is good to know that honesty still exists today. With kind regards, Jim W.

On Tuesday, 07/09/24, I took my kids to see the new Despicable Me movie. I purchased my tickets through Fandango (mistake) and couldn’t find them in my email to show my proof of purchase at the theater. The male manager who was working was extremely helpful and kind. After having no luck finding my tickets in my email and not being able to speak to someone directly from Fandango, the manager insisted I take my kids in so they didn’t miss the movie. This gesture and act of kindness was truly appreciated by me and my kids. We will definitely be going back!

I usually have an ok experience but not this time. I have now read through the comments because I can't be the only one, and I'm not. When I first came through the doors, an older man yelled something at me and my husband. The tone was rude, and to be honest, he shouldn't have yelled. I got my tickets and walked up to the ticket collector. Got through, then the man that yelled walked up to me and said, "Open your bag." I was confused because they never asked me to do that... I go there a good amount too. He had an attitude that kept getting worse. I told him that there was no need for the attitude and yelled over me again and again. I asked to talk to the manager and he was like, " I have a manager. ".... so go get them. I was so upset I couldn't relax or enjoy the movie. If you have policies you need to always follow them. It was all it the attitude and the lack of empathy. I have a problem with the bag search and wouldn't have brought one if I know they wanted to look through them. I felt yepped by the manager( but all they can do is that) and I feel like something should be done about him actually yelling and having a power trip. Then he was standing there when I had to use the restroom and leave. They should care if people aren't comfortable. People can stay home and watch movies now. We all know theater traffic is down... so don't chase people away. He should have apologized to me just at the bare minimum.
