Great location on the corner of Grant Park next the the Art Institute. Prices are good and the staff are friendly. I recommend the combo with a dog, lemonade and chips. Whenever we have a layover at Union Station, we walk down to this stand for Chicago Dogs. We really appreciate that they offer a vegetarian version. They also have tables to eat at right next to the stand.

Want a classic Chicago dog? You found the place! Close to Navy Pier and near the beach this joint is in a perfect location. I only wish they had some seating around the stand.

Maybe a Chicago dog is not for me personally, but I found it to be quite underwhelming. Quite small for the price and the pickle was overly salty.

Quite possibly the best hotdog I've ever eaten. I felt very tourist-y when stopping here for a quick bite before going to the Art Institute of Chicago, but I'm SO glad that we did. Prices are affordable and flavor is out of this world. I also enjoyed a mango Italian ice on a hot July afternoon. When waiting for our order, skateboarders rode by as traffic honked on and skyscrapers towered overhead. It felt like very much the Chicago experience to have. We walked across the street toward the museum and stopped to eat our delectable treat in the shade beside the Fountain of the Great Lakes.

First time visiting Chicago and I can confidently say this was the best Chicago style hot dog I will ever have. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make my experience one I will remember. I will definitely be back!
