The old lady at the counter wanted to throw her authority around and refuse to honor my reservation, even after calling corporate to make sure my reservation was availble she still wouldn’t give us a car but gave everyone older a car… a whole line formed and they all got their cars but not us I’m guessing cause we are young. I spend 10’s of thousands at enterprise renting every month of the year and I’ve have since been using a another rental service. WILL NEVER RETURN TO A SINGLE ENTERPRISE LOCATION

This location will charge you a refuel charge even if you filled out at the nearby Costco and turned it in right away. They've done this to me with 3 of my returns in the last month. When I called their location about it, they keep telling me it's their policy even though they're charging me for only ONE gallon!

Second HORRIBLE experience with Enterprise MFR. Last time they didn’t have any cars available but charged my card the full amount for the rental and took a week to refund. This time I didn’t bring my credit cards on the trip, and they wouldn’t take my debit card, which had thousands of dollars in the account. He said “it’s on the website”, but I didn’t look on their website because I reserved it through Expedia (with my debit card might I add!!!)Said my flight information had to match the dates needed for the car. What??? I didn’t need the car for the duration of my whole trip….And, to top it all off, the young man working at the front desk could not have been more uncaring and cold. Never again will I give Enterprise another shot. Rented from Avis, and the lady was beyond nice and helpful and caring, and was happy to take my debit card.

I find it odd that they have such a high rating. My experience earlier this week was unpleasant. I normally use Avis when I fly into MFR. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and I arrived at MFR around 12:30 am; Avis was closed and, sadly, I missed out on the Charger they reserved for me. National was the only rental center still open. I will not go over everything in the conversation, but a lot of what was said bothered me. What initiated the issue was being asked to provide an emergency contact to rent the vehicle. I travel for work. I have rented several cars in the last 10 years. Just this week, I rented three different cars in different states. None of them asked for an emergency contact except this location. I have never been asked by ANY rental car company before and I have rented from every major rental car company at least once. I am even an Emerald member; there is no place within my account for an emergency contact to be entered. The "manager" who was assisting me with the reservation told me that I have to provide an emergency contact because their "cars cost more than $30,000" and they need the information in case a renter "does not return the car" or "are unable to pay" the amount due. Even with 4 hours of sleep, I knew the request seemed bizarre. Firstly, I do not want any of their $30,000+ cars they have in their inventory. I have no desire to take whatever they give me down the 5 back to San Diego. Even if I didn't have a brand new beautiful car (with more value than their "$30,000" inventory) waiting for me at home, I have no interest in stealing. Secondly, If a renter does not return the car, you can CALL THE POLICE. Even if they are unable to return the car because they are in a ditch somewhere, you are still supposed to call the police and they will investigate the matter. Calling an emergency contact, whether that be a friend, family member, or coworker, will not force a renter to return a car. Thirdly, I pay when I reserve the car. So, the only way I could accrue additional fees would be if there are excessive cleaning fees or I keep the car longer than the contract stated. If I am unable to pay, they can file a claim. Again, calling an emergency contact will not change the fact that a renter owes money. That emergency contact did not sign a contract or any other legal document that would make them liable or require them to assist in the matter. Plus, I was renting a car for work so I paid with my company card; there should have been no question of whether or not I could pay. In the end, they provided me with a small pickup truck with a broken heating system. It only blew hot air when I was on the freeway. I couldn't feel the air blowing through the vents, but the cabin would get very hot. As soon as I was off the freeway, the cabin would cool down. It did not matter what setting I put for the fan and temperature, it was the same outcome. I'm not a mechanic, but as I was driving, it felt that there seemed to be something else wrong with it as well. I know it was a last minute reservation so they gave me what they had, but it felt like they intentionally gave me something that was old and broken to really ensure I wouldn't be inclined to steal it. (Issue occurred with Enterprise, not National)

The Van Nuys location is my favorite spot , very friendly , no matter how busy they are , when someone walks in they are acknowledged and greeted . Angel was exceptional , made a suggestion for a car and he was spot on , really enjoyed the car for the long trip we made .
