Today is July 2. We went in and ordered food to go. The sour cream condiment cup had a lid dated 6/29. This condiment should not have been used after 6/29. That's why there are 3 stars for food. There could have been more.

This place has so much potential but is extremely understaffed and wait staff that is working, is very inexperienced and has not received proper training. After food was delivered by a woman with long hair not tied back and at times touching the food and plates on the tray used to bring our food to the table, we were immediately disappointed. No one checked in after food arrived, didn’t note special requests like extra dressing, never returned to ask about refilling drinks etc. They were not busy this weeknight. We ordered salads all around and the lettuce was clearly past date - even if they weren’t past date, no one seemed to ask themselves if they would eat what was brought to our table. One salad arrived with a core in it and the other with wilted and brown lettuce. The side salad was literally all white iceberg, not one piece of green lettuce in it. The tomato was red-whew! Avocados on the chef salad were hard as a rock and beige in color. Maybe they got frozen? Ranch and blue cheese tasted similar and questionable, color was not appealing. We have a pretty low bar considering it is a small town location and figured how much could a salad be messed up? Overall, probably the worst experience I have had in a restaurant ever, not to mention a check well over 60 bucks before gratuity. Save yourself!

Extremely understaffed, and I'm fairly certain our server was doubling for kitchen. We went for an early lunch, arrived around 11:15. Right away we were told that they only had French onion soup because they were still making the potato soup. We weren't asked what sides we wanted for our meals. It took about 45 minutes for our food to come out after ordering, and we were only one of a few tables at the time. Our food finally arrived with fries on every plate. Great food, just extreme wait.

Went to the restaurant connected to the hotel. I was saying after a 21 Hour drive I was in desperate need of a beer and some food, ordered the buffalo wings and a side of ranch with a side of fries. Fries were good. I don’t know if they gave me a ranch or blue cheese, I’ve had better. The manager did not agree with the fact that I told them that beer has a funny taste. He did replace my draft beer with another draft beer after change the keg which means they don’t check their kegs very often. I will be here for five days. I will gladly walk across the street to another place then here again.

Good food. Though nothing can meet the memories of what I remember as a kid. If You’re into cougars, older country women, people who order just coffee or tea at a restaurant. I think you’ll be happy with the vibes. Family friendly (but not when I’m in town)
