Perfect place to stop while touring the fort. The view was amazing, decent selection of food plus a kids menu. Items are a little over priced for the portion sizes, but you’re mostly paying for the view. Service was very good and we where seated quickly

View is spectacular. Service was very slow. Food was ridiculously overpriced and advertised misleadingly. For example, the “assorted scones” for $10 is really just two mini scones. To me, “assorted” means you’ll get a variety. The fruit plate for $14 which lists “assorted berries, grapes” had very little in the way of berries (literally one half of one strawberry and a tiny handful of blueberries), and was mostly the cheap fruit no one wants - cantaloupe and honeydew.

Service was terrible, waiters were kind of aggressive and we waited for 15 mins to get menu. Food was made of cheap products. None of us could finish the food. And it is expensive. Disappointed that in such a beautiful place, there is this terrible restaurant.

I'm actually pretty disappointed in this place, especially since you have to pay to enter the Fort in the first place [I do not know if you can eat here without paying to enter]. If it is raining/windy outside, go down the outdoor stairs (with the view of the water), and there is a door to inside seating. Nothing is marked GF on the menu, but all sandwiches can be made GF. Some locals dining at the table next to us mentioned that the menu changes (every year? every season?). They were disappointed that the Ft Mackinac Tea Room Restaurant no longer serves soups--which we needed on this drizzly and windy July 2nd! They do have a lovely selection of teas--I have never had such a yummy Jasmine Tea (Steven Smith brand, No. 96). The sandwich was just ok. I had a turkey BLT, on GF bread, with kettle chips. Surprisingly, these were some of the better kettle chips I've had (I typically don't like them, but will eat them, anyway, for the starch). Service was just OK, but she was knowledgeable about GF offerings.

Great view. But the server was busy on her phone. My burger wasnt cook right. And the meat wasn't good. The beer was good.
