I was checking in and a 'frequent flyer', who had asked for his 'usual' room, came back in and just casually announced that a 'bum' broke into his room 'again' and utilized the shower and towels and microwave and left trash...Not to mention the beds in my own room were so tiny my 6 foot 5 husband hung off them. And I couldn't put 2 kids in a single bed so after renting out their 'deluxe' 2 bathroom suite, I still ended up with kids on the floor. What I WILL say is the staff was nice but also didn't stress u. And although the mob of drunks peeing at the bottom of the stairs to go down, was FAR from ok, if ur looking to fly under the radar and still be close to everything, this is the spot.

My family and I made the mistake of staying at this hotel because it was cheap and has a generous pet policy. My expectations were low, but this was even worse. The room was dirty and falling apart, and appears only minimally cleaned. There was no hot water at all. The entire place had sketchy people wandering around outside at all hours including at 3 am. My wife found a used condom with semen in it outside one of the doors. There is little to no security, so very much a vibe that guests can do whatever they want here and it will be overlooked. If the alternative is living in your car or on the street, maybe this motel would be a step up from that, but as far as a normal place to stay while visiting Sacramento, this place is not at all up to par for even me, a pretty easy to please traveler. We will never be back here and given how many negative experiences I have had at red roof inns throughout the country, I would strongly suggest not patronizing any of their other properties either.

Customer service was great! Rooms not so much, needs better cleaning and lots repairs. Electric (I got electrocuted with the lamp trying to charge my phone) tv didn't work in any of the rooms they moved me to.

Place was terrible. Our first room was dirty. Everything looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. There was also no remote for the tv so we changed to another room. The next room had a hole in the bathroom. The sink handle was broken but was still “useful”. The sink water was cold throughout our time there, shower was fine though. The curtains couldn’t close the gap for the window so we had to tape the middle. Nothing was clean in the room, it seemed like moles or something especially in the bathtub. There were no cleaning services during our stay (a week and a half).

Will never try to stay here again. For some reason the front desk couldnt find our reservation and when price line called them and verified that we had a reservation they still said pretty much "SORRY BOUT YOUR BAD LUCK" ITS 11pm and nonrefundable ,so me and boyfriend got SWINDLED out of couple hundred bucks .and froze all night. LADY NEXT TO ME HAD SAME PROBLEM AND SHE HAD TO COME OUT OF POCKET 95.00$ .
