Our favorite place to get fresh Salsa! We go weekly for a quart so we have for the whole week! Chips and salsa are our favorite snack late at night! Every time we dine in or takeout food is always so good! Everyone working there is so friendly and makes us always come back!

It took a while for the waitress to show up and then she told me I could not order water as a drink due to a shortage (although I was offered drinks which require water to make and saw other people order water). So now I'm predisposed to hate the place after ordering the special (taco plate); chicken, roast beef, and ground beef with a posole side. They were delicious. Some might find it too spicy but it left a great taste in my mouth for an hour. The sit-down diners are given the same plastic and foam as take-out, which detracts a bit from the experience. If I had gotten this as take-out, it would have been a 5.

Haven't been here in over four years, and I guess that this time around, the service has declined a bit. The service was ok, great looking, and well-kept's bathrooms. Now, as far as the food be warned that the chile sauces are hotter than the other restaurants, but they won't tell you, so be aware. The first picture depicted my nieces mother. She was so hungry that she ate maybe a quarter of her plate, but she couldn't stand the heat of the chile. They didn't care. We paid full price for what she couldn't eat at all, and we certainly were not going to take it home... it would end up in the trash. I had the carne adobada, and it was good, my niece had the burnt cheese tacos she enjoyed them, but not the posole too bland. Take a chance if you like scorching hot tasting food. Happy eating, everyone.

Mrs Romero, I am sending you this message to share with Raphael. We’ve been enjoying the food from your establishment since you opened the restaurant on Legion. My wife, Mrs Duran called in to place a pick-up order at 11:45 this morning. An employee, Lisa treated my wife with such contempt, rudeness, and disrespect that we cancelled the transaction. We won’t bother your establishment with our presence or business. And to think, I had just recommended KOCINA to the crew of 8 men working on our house.⚜️ I’ll mention my comment online.

My family of 7 came from a funeral to eat, the rude waitress said sit anywhere. So we chose the back and began moving 2 tables together to accommodate our big family. The rude waitress Ran.. yes RAN over to us and rudely said you can't do that that's not allowed, there's a table up front that sits 7. She could have told us that when we walked in but no she said sit anywhere. Another group of 6 or 7 walked in and they walked to the back and moved the same 2 tables together and she didn't say one word to them. She then took 15 minutes to even ask our drink order. Took another 10 minutes for us to get our drinks. She asked if we were ready to order, my out of state husband asked if they had salad and she condescending laughed at him and said "this is a Mexican restaurant". When we finally got our food, the order was completely wrong, things we asked not to be on the food were on the food. She would walk by really fast and say need anything else but never stopped just asked and kept on walking away, never giving us the opportunity to tell her anything. The restaurant was not busy and she definitely was not the only waitress there. I didn't catch her name but she was a heavy set older woman. The food even though we had to remove unwanted items from was ok, but the rudness made the whole experience horrible.
