Service was definitely slow, not rude, though. It just took quite awhile to be acknowledged. Now, the food? Definitely just mediocre. Fish tacos definitely didn’t taste fresh. Burgers were underwhelming at best. For the price, you’d be better off going down the road to the Islander.

Great place for burgers and fish and chips, I got a salmon caesar and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a huge piece of salmon for the price. Our server was bubbly, kind and made for a great experience. The dog friendly deck outback was such a great spot with a nice view. I highly recommend this place.

Awesome family run business! Friendly staff, nice patio and amaaaazing fish tacos! Felt safe being there during COVID times.

We were very rudely and quite pretentiously informed (after a long wait for any service at all) that we couldn't just order drinks, but were required to order food as they have very limited tables...this as we were seated on a deck of mostly empty tables just an hour before closing. We had come to the restaurant actually wanting to order a bit of food, but all that was on the menu was extremely expensive entrees with the only appetizer options being veggie soup and French fries. Their entree menu looked quite good and we might have been back if not for the poor customer service this time around. I would recommend to them that they consider offering as an appetizer something other than soup or French fries...oh and perhaps being kind to potentially paying customers.

Both the food and service at Bucky’s were great! We visited Lopez over Memorial Day weekend and ended up eating here both nights during our stay. Even though it was a very busy holiday weekend, they took great care of our group both nights. We will definitely return!
