If you are planning to stay close to this area, you should definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. You won't have any parking problems with the free valet service. The pool is also quite sufficient for use. It is especially suitable for families with children. There are many shops such as markets, pharmacies, eateries and so on opposite the hotel, which is great for meeting your daily needs. We were very pleased, this hotel will be our first choice on our next visit, many thanks to everyone working there.

As a family on vacation in California we wanted to find a hotel that was affordable & wasn't run down while still being in a close proximity to our destination. Price wise, it was in the middle price range, it wasn't cheap however it also wasn't the most expensive hotel in the area. Overall, it was a good stay, there was a small downside or two, but that is almost expected when traveling. There was a bit of confusion when we first arrived as we had booked two rooms through a booking site & were not aware the booking site had put the reservations under two of our names since the confirmation only showed one name with "2 rooms" under it. It took a few minutes, but they were able to get us into two rooms, although they did end up overcharging our credit card so we had to come back down so they could fix it. Thankfully they realized the mistake right away. We liked that it was right across the street from a small shopping center that had restaurants, a grocery store, Starbucks & more to make it continent to walk over and grab anything you might need. It was also located close to the freeway & several tourist type attractions which was the biggest draw for this hotel, was that it was close to everything we had planned on doing during our trip. Our party was a little surprised at the breakfast though, we've stayed in hotels that were much cheaper that had a breakfast spread better suited to multiple appetites which included cereal, eggs, pancakes or even make your own waffles. For the price per night for this hotel you would think they would have something similar. The first morning they had three flavors of bagels, yogurt, a bowl of granola bars, some fresh fruits, mini muffins/pastry and coffee. The second morning they had plain bagels, mini yogurts, mini muffins, half the fruit they had the morning prior and coffee. There were no drink options for non-coffee drinkers or young children, nor were there a lot of non-bread options for non-gluten eaters. One of the families that was getting breakfast at the same time we were had asked if they could get some milk for their small children & were told it would be an extra charge to their room. I know it might sound whinny to be a little judgmental of the breakfast offering, but some people like to book hotels specifically for the included breakfast to help cut down on travel cost when traveling with their families. In a way the hotel felt like more of a spot to stay if you are traveling on business or just in town to see family verses being more family friendly for those visiting Universal, Disney, etc. Based off of other reviews the cleanliness of the hotel room can vary from room to room and time of the year. Thankfully our room seemed quite clean upon arrival the only thing that seemed to lack a cleaning was the small patio attached to the room.

The lighting in the dining area of our room (one bedroom suite) was very poor. It was dim and there was no light in the kitchen area. Otherwise, a nice room! Staff was excellent and very courteous. I would stay here again. EDIT, added after Hotel response: we did try the light on the microwave (Room 223) and it was out. I had forgotten that and should have reported that to the front desk so the lack of light in that area is partially our fault as I feel certain the hotel would have fixed that promptly

Wow!! My husband and I have never been in a hotel this fancy and probably never will again unless we come back here one day. The staff is just so friendly. The valet always got me out of the car, even with an umbrella when it was raining. I felt like a princess! I do think there are some problems with this building though. You can tell they just tried to spruce up an older property. Both elevators permits were expired since June of 2023. That's not nerve wrecking at all that they might have not been serviced properly. The plumbing is also horrible. There's a beautiful walk in shower, ruined by constant gurgling when you're in there. The toilet also refused to flush to the point where maintenance had to be called for a clog. I also hated the toilet for the placement in our room. You had to reach over the toilet in order to flush it in the corner. It was just gross. The hallways give old and dated feelings while the rooms give off modern vibes. The bed was very comfortable, and this was the first hotel I've felt comfortable sitting at the table to eat. The chairs were comfortable and very clean. The breakfast, while it is a traditional continental breakfast, is pretty lacking for a hotel of this manner and style that even has the ability to cook full meals. Even adding just a meat or an egg product would be nice. It's giving Holiday Inn Express's grab and go breakfast but with even less. There was a rude guest on our way out that scoffed at how many bags we had with us, literally clutching her pearls. No joke. That is the type of clientele I'm sure they usually have here, making us stick out like sore thumbs. We had to save up forever to spent a few nights here but it was worth it.

Hotel Amarano Burbank is my favorite destination when staying near the studios. Not only is it extremely convenient but also the most comfortable and refined hotel experience within 25 miles of Burbank. I know I’m going to kick myself for revealing this hidden gem in a sea of good choices but their respect is well deserved. The staff and their hospitality, superb cleanliness, free valet parking and aesthetic appeal make this a fine choice for both family visits and work trips. I’ll be back for sure!
