A cute little ride that gives you kind of an old shaking roller coaster feeling without the scary part. Fare is $1 one way. $2 for return ride. You can also tap the metro card. For visitors, I would recommend come visit at night for blue hours. I came by the railway this morning and everything looks plain. If definitely looks better in contrast with the blue sky.

Definitely a great historical piece of Los Angeles. This funicular tram is over 100 years old and is still running. It's extremely rickety but that's expected. It's definitely worth the $1 and the views are great. There are also plenty of good spots for photographing and filming the tram going up and down which is great.

This is a cute railway the is in front of grand central market. I actually decided to take it from getting out of the MOCA to go down to the grand central parking lot. Was able to purchase a ticket. Easily get on the railway and then head down. It’s a short ride.

The staff was so nice and friendly. Way better than taking the stairs to get to the Grand Central market. Such a unique and fun experience!. I also thought it was cute how you could keep the ticket stubs as souvenirs from spending the day out in the city. 🏙️

Great little historical (and horizontal) train. I just wish it was longer. Only $1 to ride each direction, up and down. At the bottom across the street, you'll find a fun market place with food booths of different types of food. Cool little lunch date or match it with other sites like the Broad museum nearby.
